A couple big deal bonuses about the Apollo Valiant are the fact you have now extended your options, and you can use a real “glassomizer” out of the box as opposed to those plastic tanks (boo). Most eGo situations are a bit “fixed gear bicycle” in my experience. The Apollo Valiant lets you learn how to ride a real bike, um, I mean vape.
The Apollo Valiant kit includes a Kanger Pro Tank 3 and a 1300mAh variable voltage and variable wattage battery.
The Kanger Pro Tank 3 is a popular tank. Very popular. It sits atop many such vapes, and has lots of cousins in the Kanger and other brand field. There are options here for the Valiant, and it pays simply to make sure your settings are right for whichever tank you’re using. The point of a variable system is to accommodate different tanks and e-liquids.
Having a variable voltage, variable wattage battery complete with an illuminated display makes it incredibly simple to tune your vaping to an optimal experience. The display shows both your current volt and watt settings. And this can give you an important understanding of your coil longevity and your battery life. It’s advisable to check the specification and ohm charts for your tanks to avoid burning out your coils. The battery has a range of 3 to 6 volts and 3 to 15 watts. You can toggle watt and volt adjustments by holding down the adjustment button (+). The watt range is provided by adjusting the current (amp) draw across the voltage selection, so it pays to understand that your battery will drain fast at 15 watts. The battery can automatically adjust itself, but keep in mind the tank’s design.
Some vapers have pointed to the length of the Valiant being long, but it’s not particularly long – at least not notably. It’s a lightweight battery, for sure, and this may surprise a few. This has more to do with the overall construction rather than the battery internals itself.
Some reviewers are saying the battery lasts a long time, but I happen to find it’s pretty standard for expectations and experience. Also, the variable settings and different ohm situations make it impossible to know how long the battery will last. You’ll just have to go with what works for you. Of course, this is why it has a charger Apollo did update the charger to a micro USB to make the Valiant current with other vapes. There’s a battery indicator in the display as well, so you will be able to keep track of how much is left on it.
Overall, a great deal at $49.95.
